The Caretakers Cottage

Walking to Church

We all came from Portaferry with the exception of Rosemary who was born in 1949 while we lived in the cottage. Tommy and Bella, my brother James and sister Rosemary. I can remember walking to Glengormley Primary School. My dad was caretaker at the church and also the gravedigger. I was in the Sunday School & CLB, Confirmation classes during the period of Rev. Guy's era.
